Oh my goodness, what a beautiful garden! I could just sit there all day and be happy, happy, happy! I love your lamp posts-I bet the night-time garden is stunning too!
Thanks for stopping by. The garden is prettiest between about 5 p.m. and twilight — just when the lights come on.
I enjoyed your slideshow, and pinned several of the photos. Surprised at how many of the plants I recognized – I know so little about Rwanda, I’m sorry to say. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for visiting. Rwanda has such a mild climate (because of the altitude) that we can grow both temperate and tropical plants here.
stunning !!!!
Thank you! I’m hoping that that philodendron will grow up into the Mussaenda branches. There’s also a variegated philo. behind it, which will come up as well.
Your garden is looking lovely but it is your photos that are stunning. So many unusual locations and angles, cropping, foreground items: many lessons for garden photogs in your pictures.
Thank you so much! I have to work around the limitations of my point-and-shoot Canon Power Shot. Although the poor little thing has served me really well ( https://enclosuretakerefuge.com/2012/10/30/a-study-in-steps-and-more-in-chicago/ ), I’m thinking of getting a DSLR soon.
Using WordPress’s slide show feature, which adds a black border, helps too — this is why my college photography professor would never allow us to present our work with black mats.
