The Sunday porch: airing the quilts

I’m afraid I have a bad cold, so today’s porch is a repeat from August 2012.

“Typical farmhouse, spring housecleaning, homemade quilts and bedding in sun. Coffee County, Alabama.” Photos taken April 1939 by Marion Post Wolcott.

    1. The sandy (?) yard is interesting. I looked up Coffee County and it’s in the south of the state, near the Florida panhandle — disappointingly named for a general, not the blessed drink.

I like all the cans — I guess all her plant cuttings — lined up along the porch.
