Interesting that the lattice is so beautifully done and yet the steps are just pure function with none of the same touch of artistry.
I’m sure that’s an indication of owners who were once well off and then, around 1940, rather poor. The original steps rotted before the latticework. (The old bootscraper is still in place.)
I know I would fall off the steps in the picture.
I can’t find anything on the web to tell me if whether the house still exists.
